Rest In Peace Poem by Faye Hahn

Rest In Peace

As you fall asleep
What you sow I will reap
I'll scar you in your sleep
I'll cut you nice and deep.
You'll wish you'd never done it,
You'll wish to take it back
But to you, I'll hit,
I'll hack, I'll hack, hack
You'll scream, I'll laugh
Or you'll cry, I'll be silent
But I'm not done, not even half
But it's your fault, we're hellbent.
You had better pray,
You better not shout
It's too late,
There's no way out.
You'll plead, you'll apologize,
But you're not sorry,
You'll never be forgiven.
Someday I'll see the apple of his mother's eye
He looks down on you and me
You know he's vey high,
You only made him safe.
You'll wish you'd never done it
You'll wish to take it back
But to you, I'll hit;
I'll hack, I'll hack hack.
You'll scream, I'll laugh,
Or you'll cry, I'll be silent
But I'm not done, not even half.
It's your fault, and we're hellbent.
What made you come to this?
It's not your choice not even his
It wasn't his time
Now I write this rhyme,
He will never be mine
To play with,
To talk to,
To laugh with.
Until one day
