I Have No Curses In My Poems, No Insults Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Have No Curses In My Poems, No Insults

I have no curses in my poems no insults-
I have no hatred in my poems
I do not have much anger-

Fear I have and anxiety also
Worry and sadness yes
But putting down and demeaning – no-

My poems are the person I am
A small voice that would be kind.
