I Just Like Your Face... Poem by Reginald Goodridge

I Just Like Your Face...

Staring at the picture
int'resting mixture
hues and col'rs
bubbles much fuller

Cheeks so red
wet with emotion
lips hardly soft
stout in devotion

Creeping in low
hugging that chin
up on my keyboard
I grin, you grin

Laugh do we
I'm here, your there
sound silly
I really don't care

I'd much rather stare
rather glee
better knowing
you live in me

Having held
know I touched
still want more
those hands I clutch

You're the want
and the warm
the sunset
and beautiful dawn

Keep me happy
make me giggle
I'll keep writing
spewing my riddles

Just that smile
keep it fresh
I love you baby
your face, my best...

I have some suggestions: 'Staring at the picture' i think it would be better if you will replace 'the' with 'your' 2nd stanza 'Cheeks so red', please put 'are' 'Cheeks are so red' 4th stanza 'I'm here, your there', please revise the 'your' to 'you're'
