Smiling happily when I saw you
Laughing gently beside you
We had a perfect friendship
Nothing could stop us
But something has
Now I only have a memory
Remembering our times together
Why did it happen
Why did that had to happen
To split us apart so far
I’m here, your there
I tried to visit but couldn’t
When I get close, memories hold me back
Remember the trees, the fields
Will, I remember clearly
All those laughs, all those cheers
Those dreams we shared
What happen to our promise
That we will never split
Too bad we’ll never get to keep it
Remember the pond, with those lilies
I do, because I fell in trying to get one
You laugh that cherry little laugh
But now I cry on that mound of dirt
Being away from you is just too hard
About our promise, I’ll keep it
