I didn't think my heart could take second chances
But I made an exception for you
And as it turned out
You were just like before. 

I know I don't have the perfect model body
Or my face isn't always the best
But what I do know is that
The person who will love me 
Will see not that

I know I may be different than everyone else
I know that my life isn't the same
You don't need to tell me
I already know
So just leave me be 

 I have learned from my mistakes
And know the real truth
The person who loves me for real
Will tell me that what I thought I knew
Was wrong.
