I Know Poem by Deb Fowler

I Know

Rating: 2.6

I know
the robins song
in the dawn
I know
the coo of mourning dove
to its mate
I know
the bluebirds shrill
as it calls
I know
the owls hoo hoo
on a moon filled night
I know
the sound of your car
in the drive
I know
the sound of your steps
as you walk down the hall
I know
the echo of silence
I know you are not coming back
I know
the sound of good bye.
