To Josh Austin (author of this poem) and Shannon Nagel (who left a comment) : nicely written, love the flow, and the message you're trying so hard to bring across. Here is the secret tho: you are perfect. And only people who embrace that every little thing that makes them different from anyone else, also makes them perfect, are able to stand tall and say 'I AM PERFECT' without being arrogant. You are a perfect being, exactly as you need to be right now, at this very moment in time. Just because you make mistakes does not mean you are not perfect. And we fall short, because it's so much easier to fail and play the victim than stand up and take responsibility and try again.

Wow, this poem is so good. Are any of us ever perfect? We all fall short and we all make mistakes... when we recognize this, we become better people I think. Good write! :) Shannon
