The twilight shades
Melt your heart,
And you look everywhere
But find nothing.
When gloom is all
That you can see,
And no one around.
You want to sink.

No single soul
Whom you love,
Is ready to be explained
By your reason or whims,
You loose your faith
In your every grit.
You cherish no laugh,
No poems or hymns.

You skip a few beats
And your limbs waver,
Each voice seems harsh
Each movement a tremor.
You are locked in time,
The block is severe.
The world is all real and solid;
You miss your dreamer.

At that moment, my darling,
You think of me.
Of countless such moments
That I have seen.
And everytime I survive
As I utter your name.
Of how like you,
I have been.
