I know you thought it was me
But now I’m blinded and cannot see
Look at the world through your eyes
I turned my world around what a surprise
I thought I took a turn for the worse
I thought everyone was after me of course
But now my world turned upside down
Back and forth and all around
Standing here in the middle of the floor
I now realize that my heart was just sore
Torn up from the sadness and the depression
I realized my whole life was a recession
I realized I was spiraling in a downward trend
Because I had no family or a friend
In this world I was alone
I realized now how much I’ve grown
