I Leave Poem by Piccola Topo Gigio

I Leave

One Step; the door.
Two Steps, to be sure.
Three Steps, a distance I explore.
Four Steps, to not look back anymore.
Five Steps, so I don't repeat like before.
Six Steps, as I move to a different shore.
Seven Steps, I leave behind all I had to endure.
Eight Steps, my feet stand strong and firm on the floor.
Nine Steps, then my life becomes that which I'd always hoped for.
Ten Steps, and I finally find the missing part of my committed core.
