I Live In The Sadness Of Who I Am Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Live In The Sadness Of Who I Am

I live in the sadness of who I am
And the sadness of what life is
I live in the sadness
Of those I love
And all I cannot give-

I live in the sadness
Of Sadness itself
That brings Beauty to the pain of Song
I live in the sadness of who I am
And how I will die ere long.
