I'll Grant You That Poem by Pierre Rausch

I'll Grant You That

You're free to go
You better go back down
I walked and headed to the payphone
We checked out and dropped

Well, can we leave for a little while
I just left this morning and I found
Myself missing you
Then again, what are you doing

Some places keep them in stock
Back to London, back to New York
Should have been the one on the phone
It seemed somehow to confess

Well, can we leave for a little while
I just left this morning and I found
Myself missing you
Then again, what are you doing

You're not arguing here
It is the wrong thing to ask
Days before it is discovered
I'll be all right

Well, can we leave for a little while
I just left this morning and I found
Myself missing you
Then again, what are you doing
