And throw away the key?
Will you hold me in your arms
And say you'll always love me?
Can I cherish each kiss
And revel in each embrace?
Will you understand this
And tell me you'll stay?
Can I stop all my tears
And know that you care?
Will you ignore my fears
And crush my nightmares?
Can I touch your face
And look into your eyes?
Will you feel my heart race
And say you'll always be mine?
Can I forget all that wasn't true
And get lost in your touch?
Can I just love you
And forget that I'll never be good enough?
