I'Ll Not Cry Daddy Poem by Jean Benson

I'Ll Not Cry Daddy

As I walked you to your bedroom,
Put a kiss upon your cheek.
I see the Lord working miracles,
So gentle and so sweet. There's a song in my heart for you Daddy,
As you linger here on Earth for awhile.
Your new home is waiting up yonder,
Where you'll wear the sweetest smile. God has paid the total price for you Daddy,
He has loved you through every hour.
I'll not cry sad tears for you Daddy,
When you climb to Heaven's tower. God is good, God is great, and it's never too late,
To see our loved ones go home.
He is waiting up there, and he really does care,
Thank you Lord, thank you Lord, Amen.
