I'Ll See You When I Get Home - Poem by Savannah Goral

I didn't know you,
And yet you seem so close.
I'm sorry it has to end this way,
You don't deserve to go.

You were so bright,
So young,
You were a sight,
I couldn't walk away from.

I didn't know you,
And yet you seem so close.
I'm sorry it has to end this way,
You don't deserve to go.

I prayed for you with each passing day,
In hopes that you would get better.
My prayers weren't answered,
But I know your in a better place.

I didn't know you,
And yet you seem so close.
I'm sorry it has to end this way,
You don't deserve to go.

You'll be happy now,
Everything will be perfect.
As for us,
Dont worry.. We'll make it thru.

We'll miss you deeply,
Too much to say.
But these are my final words to you Megan:
'I love you, and I'll miss you. But I'll see you when I make it home one day.'
