just because i hang on your every word

it doesnt mean that i am weak
i tell you that i love you

when i think you need to hear it
but it doesnt mean that i own you

or you own me
when youre in one of your moods

i dont argue back at you because
i know that sometimes in a relationship

you just have to let it be

i wear my emotions on my sleeve when it concerns us
but im nobodys fool

i will give my love until it hurts
thats my hearts sacred rule

when the love that i give comes back to me
in the form of heartache and pain

when even on my days of sunshine
all i see is rain

before i cross that thin line
between love and hate

ill take my love away from you
and save it for my real soul mate
