I am serene
you see.
three nights ago I asked my angel to hold me all night
asked him to cuddle himself around me
wrapping arms,
legs and wings.
And it seems that he brought friends.
I sense I am in the presence of many.
It must be that in the depth of my sleep
these angels came
and stroked my face and whispered love to me
I certain of it
because I live in bliss these days.
I am here lifted quietly in my body
perhaps an inch off the ground
softness fills me
from whispers of love
I am cradled
in the arms of an angel
basking in the pattering of waves
floating
with music in my eyes.
