I'll Wait For You Lord Poem by Jasbir Singh

I'll Wait For You Lord

Rating: 5.0

I am down on my feet again to your Cross,
Crying aloud in pain, God you're worthy!
And only You I shall praise!
I am surrounded by an ocean,
I am not able to move freely,
But I am sure at this moment you're close,
And I will still thank You and praise,
Even though I am going through winter,
I will be patient and and I'll not move,
Until your Words take deep roots,
And branches to hold abundant fruits,
I will be still and honour you, my God,
I'll bury your promises and words,
Deep within my heart until comes spring,
Finally, when the season has come,
I will bear abundant fruits,
I will wait for Your voice to move,
To go to the world and glorify You,
If you aren't done with me still,
I'll wait patiently in my pain,
I shall lack nothing until You come,
And finally, when you come again Lord,
On your arms directly I'll jump,
I'll cry tears of joy with gladness,
Because finally, I saw my Lord face to face,
Until it comes to pass, I'll not stop waiting,
Even though insults and persecution I face,
I have a living hope and it shall not fail ,
I'll keep on praising You even when it hurts,
Because blessed I'm called when I am tried!
