I'Ll Walk You Home Poem by Justin Gildow

I'Ll Walk You Home

On this night
I'll walk you home
The night has arrived
And the stars in the sky appear to be aligned
And I wonder if love is pointing to a sign

Everything seems alright for you
And everything seems alright for me
I act timidly as I walk you home
You smile and gently caress my back with your hand
Somehow, I have to wonder
If fate had this all planned

Beautiful music wafts in the air
As we walk the final mile on our own
And all the night time creatures eyes gleam
And somewhere in the universe
Many moonbeams like in wait to capture and purify the many drifting thoughts and lies that are residing inside of people
