I Long Poem by Arely Corral

I Long

I long for a world where hatred and envy does not exsist
where my children freely roam with no care...
I long for a world where beauty lies truly within
where my children know I'll forever be there...

I long for a place in which to call home.
where my children can be just like they want.
I long for a place where they can create beautiful memories...
where they are not traumatized by a past that forever will haunt.

I long for the strength to move foward
and help them become pure and of kind heart..
I long for the strength to always be present
and never ever from their side need to part.

I long to be able to see them happy..
and see them older and grown..
I long for them to be able to say to me.
That they remember all the love that I've shown...
