I Love You Poem by Phillip Dodham Cormier

I Love You

Rating: 5.0

I wish to feel your arms around me
The soft caress of your lips against my skin
I want to feel your body against mine
Your hair brushes against my face as we lay together.
I wish for you to lie in my arms
To hear our hearts beat to the same rhythm.
I want your body to warm mine
To know you are there beside me while I sleep.
Goose bumps arise when your hand touches my bare chest.
I want to feel our bare skin touch.
My hands drawing you close to me.
I wish you to be the first thing I see when I wake
Our eyes meeting, causes my heart to beat faster
The only thing I want is you.
The only thing I need is you
