Waiting there all alone.
With your laugh and your smile.
Boy when i see you it takes me miles.
I would give anything.

But im just the friend whos always there.
The one who smiles to show she cares.
Its not me but her you love.
Im your angel sent from above.
Cant you see the wings ive grown.
The happiness ive come to know.

You didnt care about what others said.
You stole my heart again and again.
But im just the friend of a wonderful guy
