I Love You Poem by Sasha Rose Meredith

I Love You

Rating: 0.5

When you left me
that cold dark night
the wind blew free
it gave me a fright

then when it stopped i
realised you were here
you never actually went
but neither did my tear

you see you were gone
but still with me
i cried each night
with my head in my knee

i knew i would not see you
until i went there too
Until i entered the golden gates
thats when i would see you

even though your not with us
your in a better place
but i know your somewhere looking down
with that beutiful face

You will be dearly missed
by us all here at home
and all those people
we told over the phone

we could not bare to see
of those who would just cry
We didnt want to see them hurt
we couldnt even try

all those special things you did
will clearly be missed
theyd take to long to tell
ill have to write a list

the way your cook your bacon
the way your fry the eggs
getting us out of bed
buy pulling at our legs

the way you smile when you sleep
the way you make us laugh
the way you order our drinks
at the local caf

you dont do it like a normal mum
you do it in your own unigue way
Two orange 1 decaffe and a tea maurise
thats what you would say

we always found it embaressing
until the day you left
all these memories with you
they will all be kept

i guess all i want to say
is mum you will be missed
and to those people in the afterlife
you are blessly kissed3
