I Love You Poem by Aris Williams

I Love You

How did you not know I liked you?
Constantly hung out with you,
Talked with you, Gossiped with you too,
Following you all the way through,
Always, always loved you.

I knew I had no chance in hell,
You never saw me the way I saw you,
I could obviously tell,
As I watched everything you do,
You never loved me.

But I will still follow,
No matter what you ask,
Please don't deem me a psycho,
And I have done every task,
Just so you'd like me

Even when you ask for me,
To give a letter to a girl,
A girl that you did love truly,
I complied, wanting to hurl,
You like someone else,

A sweet poem you wrote her,
A poem I know, meant for me,
A sadness I must endure,
Why can't you see you should love me?
I love you so much

She rejected profusely,
But don't be so sad over this!
I know she didn't take it loosely
Instead, you could give me a kiss!
I'm too afraid to admit my love

I will never admit it,
I don't want to lose our friendship,
Although I think a spark has been lit,
I could give you a small tip?
Please go out with me

Back as friends, together again,
Hanging out with you,
You will still like me then?
Following you all the way through,
But I still love you.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I just realized that if you read this slowly and out loud, it sounds desperate, pathetic, and much cooler than reading it fast. This is actually a true story (sorta) The guy I mentioned in this, if he asked me out, I would say yes, nothing more. But we are really close, so I wrote a poem about him (not fully true though) And yes, he did write a poem for a girl and was rejected, sadly. I was the one who cheered him up. And I do have no chance, but I don't care. Meh. (This sounds like I am trying to say no to a truth, I think I am afraid of him finding this.) ..... OK I DO LIKE HIM! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
