I Love You, Like I Make Love To You. Poem by Lynn Grassette

I Love You, Like I Make Love To You.

I love you, like I make love you.

Nothing but good intent, in every move I make;
To please you, oh, to squeeze you, to ease your every ache.

I want to make it last until I hurt from the pleasure.
And a hundred minutes from then on, and a hundred minutes after.

And If it ever ends, which in someway it will.
Let me reflect on every moment, with thoughts that only fill.

Oh you are wonderful to me, aren’t you?
And good to me.
You hold me so close
And push so hard,
It’s hard;
Not. To. Cry. From. The. Very. Thought.
You are the source of what I want.

Oh, I love you, like I make love to you
And I touch you, exactly how I’m supposed to;

Softly, and slowly, and with so much meaning
And carefully, for skin and hearts are easily sent screaming.

If only to make love to you now;
If only to push you down,
Stare into your eyes,
And let you inside;
Everything that I am.

Yes babe,
I love you, like I make love to you.
