I Love You More. Poem by Sierra Evans

I Love You More.

I love you more than earth loves air,
more than trees love sun.

I love you more than sky loves clouds,
more than you love me.

If you were the ocean I'd drown in you;
the winter, I'd freeze in you.

My eyes are blind to anyone but you.

My heart doesn't beat until I see you.

My eyes linger on your face, your body, your lips.

My mind sifts through your words.
My being longs for you.

I love you, my dear.

I love you more.
