I'M A Daydreamer, This Is My Dream Poem by Greggi Leano

I'M A Daydreamer, This Is My Dream

after walking you home,
by your front door alone,
before the sun set
the place starts turning violet
When i see you for the last time,
I'm a lover at my most sublime,
i just want to close my eyes
to uncover every lies,
and imagine your lips moving closer to mine
i was half happy as if drinking sweet wine
then when we meet,
i hear a smooch and you release it.
we had an eye contact and smiled at each other.
well thank God there's no sign of your father
and we started to meet again.
saying ILYs over and over again
craving for that soft brim
and now im having a dream.
then after the orange has gone,
we separated from being one,
we left each other,
i climbed the ladder,
we said our goodbyes,
yet never left our tag ties
and then when i reached home,
i was feeling monochrome
i went to my bedroom
and lit my destined doom
took out the wedding ring,
laid down replaying the thing
over and over in my mind.
as if something's in bind.
Oh! yah, math test! concentrate!
hate daydreaming,
it wont help you pass a math test!
