I'M A Goth, And I Love You Poem by Shayne Terrana

I'M A Goth, And I Love You

I knew you not in a very long time
But I had learned to value you like a dime.
The first time i met you, I had butterflies
Time passed by, started to fade the smiles.

I never expected that I will meet someone like you
Somehow I didn't had a clue.
I frantically know that we are completely disparate
And it caused me a painful heartbreak.

You were so religious, I thought
And I, I was just a little goth.
Plain white shirts you adore
But heavy make up and black clothes I use to wore.

See how a goth like me being such a loser?
While you having a lot of posers.
We are very far from each other, I can say
But I want you to know that I will be here to wait and stay.

Friendship I explored unto you
But a wonderful love I found through and through.
A goth like me can take off her black make up for you
Just reassure that your love for me is true.
