I'M Here Poem by Kyrsten Gaddis

Since the days
When we were little
We've always been close,
But I moved away,
Now we could'nt be farther.
No way to get to you from here
Still, you're never there.
New best friends,
New enemys,
I'm happy for you,
Believe me.
But I'm here,
You don't seem to care.
You're never home,
I'm all alone.
I try to be strong
Yet, Something's wrong.
Our group got Smaller,
Till nothing was left.
None of us speak,
Well, maybe every other week.
I guess what I'm trying to say is,
I'm here
You're not
And it's something I don't want.
