When you found me,
God I was so ready.
I was so ready to give up.
To surrender.
I was so ready to put up that white flag.
To give up on love.
I was so tired of dying on the inside.
I was tired of putting on the fake smiles.
And happy act.
I was tired of mask that I wore.
I’m tired of hiding
I’m tired of crying.
But when you found me.
You changed all that.
I could for once in my life feel.
Feel something good.
And in the end I realized that I was falling in love.
And now, I can for sure tell you I’m no longer falling.
No I’m no longer falling.
I’m here.
I’m here in your arms.
I’m here lying in your arms and they feel just so safe.
I’m safe and at home.
I’m no longer going to do it.
I’m no longer going to put my hands up.
I will never give up on love.
Because I have you.
I’m in love.
And I always will be.
I’m no longer dying on the inside.
I no longer have to wear the mask.
I no longer have to pretend that I’m someone else.
With you I can be.
Well just me.
