I'm In The Holiday Spirit Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

I'm In The Holiday Spirit

Rating: 5.0

I'm in the holiday spirit
I feel like decking the halls
But not in an advertising commercialism
That they have at the shopping malls

More of like a sentimental season
Like my parents used to have
Some old time holiday traditions
That used to make me glad

So if I'm decorating my house
It's not to win a prize
But rather to bring a smile to your face
Or to enrapture your eyes

May the joy of the real holiday
Capture you anew
And be for you more than a party
Or something you have to do
