I'm just a girl
who lives like everyone else
I live in this world
making wishes in wells

I can't understand
why some people hate me
Just sometimes want to live
like how the days used to be

People say I can't fly
they say that I'm pinned
but I just stand and spread my wings
and wait for that wind

I have to be careful
make sure I oversee
and that i should control that strong wind
and not to let it control me

But then again...

I'm just a girl
