I'm My Own Enemy Poem by Maria Jacobo

I'm My Own Enemy

Maybe I am crazy.
My mind is trying to decieve me.
I can't be living like this.
The bullet shot was a miss.
The memories of what we had were so precious.
I was so selfish.
So many times I wished I was dead.
Living on is such a dread.
The wind blowing me away like dust.
This is a big mission i'm going to bust.
Forget the rest.
You will never be the best.
Stop waiting.
This is your life.
Slowly slit your throat with a sharp knife.
Don't hold back.
Darkness has your back.
I got you.
No more feeling blue.
Don't try to run your going to do this right.
I'm going to hold you down.
You are on your own.
Someone will see your blood somehow.
If not later then now.
I see it slowly dripping to the ground.
Honey, you are no longer lost, you are found.
I'll get rid of something old for something new.
I'll make all your dreams and wishes come true.
You didn't choose me, I chose you.
Forget your past life.
I'm leading you to my light.
Come to me.
I'll set you free.
Don't mind my dark eyes.
I wont ever tell you lies.
I know what you need.
Now, sign with your blood to be set free.
