I'M Not Sorry Poem by Franklin Spriggs

I'M Not Sorry

Rating: 5.0

All the days of my life,
How different they should be,
For I was a gift to be given,
Not just something here to see.

Like a present to be presented,
As unto a christmas morn,
Were you glad I came into this world,
or sorry I was born.

I'm sorry if I did not delight you,
What you were hoping for I do not know,
But I was permitted upon this earth,
A little light that was to show. (child)

We raised you up from childhood, (parent)
I guess I'm duty bound,
The more and more I see you,
I have no regrets that your around.

It has taken many years,
for me to understand,
That in this world you were delivered,
Why you were put into my hands.

So looking back upon the years,
Of precious hours to recall,
I'm not sorry you came into the world,
I'm not sorry, I'm not sorry at all.

Dedicated to all the children of the world!
