I'M Not Your Puppet Poem by The Bloodrose

I'M Not Your Puppet

Rating: 5.0

Watch me play and watch me dance,
Hung up by the wires
Your little puppet, your marionette
Your handling I require

Because I am your little puppet,
Never to break free
The wires tight, the strings are pulled
With every single plea

But its my turn to pull the strings
I tug at your hand
I twist, I turn, dancing blindly
Breaking every strand

You jerk back, your face afraid
I’ve never done this before
I dance and play and walk away
I’m not your puppet anymore
