I Miss You
(The Midnight Letters)
So, I guess I'm caught up,
In the world and all it's pain,
Again.
But I'll wait her, untill,
I see you.
You've given me so much,
My one, my only,
My beautiful baby girl.
I write your name,
On the veins that cross these arms,
In hopes the pain would subside,
Along with hopes and dreams.
She's gone.
I gave you my all,
I gave you my heart.
Where am I now?
So now I'll wait for you,
And your return.
She still holding my heart,
Long after goodbye.
I'm not too sure she's coming back.
Dagger, pressed tight in the burried.
Am I dead?
No, dear boy,
You're just lost.
I miss you.
I write your name,
On the veins that cross these arms,
In hopes the pain would subside,
Along with hopes and dreams.
She's gone.
I gave you my all,
I gave you my heart.
Where am I now?
So now I'll wait for you,
And your return.
I miss you.
