I Miss You Poem by Eddie James

I Miss You

Into the late night I sit alone on my couch staring away into nothing
It is at this time that I feel the loneliest surrounded by the sounds that share this dwelling
Nothing else could fill this void that exists in your absence
This void that grows and darkens, it sinks deeper… without balance
Return soon my love.
I am bound to you at the heart
That is why it hurts to part
