I Miss You 🍀 Poem by Jennieve Enano

I Miss You 🍀

I've been awaken in the deafness of the night, strange feeling crept within.

I feel blind, I see nothing,
In the darkness of the night.

I tossed and turned feeling unwell,
the night was too long, I couldn't sleep.

I forced myself to get up,
though my lazy mind refused.

Lights were on and saw this room not my own, strange world is where I am now.

Beside my pillow was my booklet and pen,
I'd been scribbling all along.

Months past, even years swift so fast unnoticed;
And I can't even remember my last note written,
the last book I've read, the last movie I've watched at home, and the last song I have heard that's been played.

This world really kept me busy;

A Li'l sunlight to sweat, then darkness surround...
like a vampire that couldn't stay long in the light.

Am not tired though, it's just that my time was short.

I Miss You 🍀
