I Miss You 'bud' Poem by Cory H

I Miss You 'bud'

Tonight you occupy my head.
I cannot sleep, so I just lay here in bed.

It's been five years, yet it still doesn't seem real.
Nothing I do mends the pain I feel.

Guilt fills my thoughts and nothing is clear.
If I only knew, maybe you would still be here.

You were my brother, yet not in blood.
I hope I see you again someday, I miss you Bud.
