I Need Time Poem by Dixon Irene

You say that I need
to make up my mind
and tell you when
I will be yours again.

I can't make up
my mind that fast,
I need some time
to think of the good and bad.

You have broken my heart,
shattered my soul
but you have put it
all back together also.

I need time, to think
about all that you have
done to me and for me
yea I have to admit we did have some good times.

I'm hoping that you
will give me extra time to
think about this, I
don't want to be rushed into another relationships.

My parents don't like you,
all that much. I used to care for you
but I am not so sure anymore, tell me
how can I still care after all you did to me.
