I Need You Here Next To Me - Poem by joseph short

I need you right here next to me,
I want to cry because I can’t go on,
Yet I know I have to be strong,

Because you need me to be there,
And I want to always have you,
You belong in my arms only!

I will hold you until the end of eternity,
If you will take me to be your true love,
Can you handle being mine till the end of time?

I need you right here next to me,
I want you lips against mine,
I want to cuddle with you forever,

Because you need me to be there,
I will always open my arms to you,
If you need my embrace it is always yours,

I will hold you until the end of eternity,
I want your body lying next to me,
I need you every touch for the rest of my life,

I need you right here next to me,
I need someone to hold me too,
And the only person I would let it be is you!

Because you need me to be there,
I will never forsake you my dear,
Because I need you to be here too,

I will hold you until the end of eternity,
Then we can live happily,
I will hold you until the end of eternity.
