I Never Cared For A Pear Poem by Jon Owens

I Never Cared For A Pear

Rating: 5.0

I never once cared for a pear
Reasons withheld for the better
I instead elected an orange
To become my fruitful endeavor

Life is an orchard of circumstance
To compliment is purely to flatter
And is it not more exciting
To have but a choice in the matter?
