I never said I loved you
I just told you that I could
I never would have said it
But I really thought I should

And now it doesn't matter
Because you don't feel the same
I've done things I can't take back
And I hang my head in shame

The worst thing is I've lost you
As my lover and my friend
Now my life without you in it
Will be bitter to the end

I can't love without my heart
And its gone away with you
I never said I loved you
