I, One Among The Gods? Poem by Abel Obando

I, One Among The Gods?

As the breeze commanded the rhythm
of pure natural essence
in such delightful body,
the crew of thy ship
fell into your waves;
dancing,
dreaming,
forgetting about the moon and stars
that were taken out of the sky by such glamorous figure;
i kept on thinking-
can i conquer those perfect lines
with my talents and words,
could i be the one for you to choose
among the gods;
could i, an old pirate
take your hand and
converge with you within the blue
please give me a hint,
a clue,
or at least,
wake me from those ideas
the could bury me
at this very end.
