You'll never know how much I prayed
for you
for me
for us
You'll never know the way I confessed to God
the joy you brought
the love you gave
the peace I found within you
You'll never know that I pleaded with him the day you left
as your car drove away
as tears rolled down my face
as I my heart split and caved
You'll never know that I prayed asking him to take you away if it was not meant to be
and that I wish I never made that prayer now
that I want you still beside me
that I wish he brought you to me forever
You'll never know how much I prayed
that you would love me as I love you
that you are still safe and okay
that you know I'll always care
