I Quit Poem by Raymond Inkertsiah

I Quit

I am done pretending
I quit this world
My King is waiting for me
He fought for me
Regardless of my mistakes
For I see myself
As the world's greatest sinner
Who needs no redeemer
But he sees me as part of him
Lilies and tulips in his garden

He calls me his own
And his field
I quit this world
I am done pretending
For I am in love with my King
Which is far beyond Eros
For his Agape love
Has taught me about genuine love
I am done pretending
I quit this world
