I Remember - Poem by Shay Seeber

In loving memory i read as i run my fingers down the hard wooden bench
I think back to that sad face that looked at me when noone would play with you but me
I think about how i would get onto the floor and tickle you.
The way you looked at me with that smile on your face
I remember when i tried to walk away and you would start to cry
I remember when i got the news that you passed away
How mom didnt want to tell me because she knew i would cry
I remember sitting on this bench talking to you and now i remember
