I Remember A Day From Long Ago, When My Soul Sprouted Wings Poem by Enache Dan

I Remember A Day From Long Ago, When My Soul Sprouted Wings

I remember a day from long ago, when my soul sprouted wings,
Wings born from the thrill of love,
I lifted my gaze to the high blue sky, mysterious and endless,
Peaks that seemed so far away, were now just a heartbeat's distance.
Small, hesitant leaps were my first attempts,
The surrounding beauty brought me emotion and joy,
'You can fly higher! ', I confidently told myself,
And I took off, with a heart full of hope and courage.
The desert of loneliness transformed into an ocean of love,
Waves of feelings whispered sweet melodies to me,
I realized that flying was my path to freedom,
Freedom from the claws of sadness that so often made me look down.
I grew, and my wings strengthened,
In the battle with love, I experienced triumphs and defeats,
Experiences that took my breath away, lifted me up and brought me down,
In a dance of life, full of mystery, lessons, and unspoken desires.
And even when I wasn't flying, I always remembered,
The moments when I felt true freedom,
A light flight, where the world seemed so small and light,
Then I understood that happiness doesn't lie in wealth, but in the free flight of the soul.
The sun warmed my wings, the sky was always there,
My path was full of surprises and challenges,
I knew that no matter where my flight took me,
Guided by the light of the stars, I was always heading towards the warmth of love.
So I flew and touched,
The peaks that seemed unreachable,
I knew there were witnesses watching me,
And so I understood that anyone who wants to can fly, love, and reach the heights of happiness.
