I Remember It All Poem by Phil Kellogg

I Remember It All

It's been three whole months now
3 months since I've seen her face
3 months since I've heard her voice
3 months since I've breathed in her scent
I remember her face
That cute little grin that spread ear to ear
The laughter of hers
I remember everything
I just cant remember those beautiful eyes
If they were green or brown
Hazel or black or blue
They surpass my memory
I remember the sparkle though
They shone brightest when she laughed
and faded when she cried
I remember her blushing
Still smiling as ever
I remember all the good times
and a few of the bad
We've been friends for a while
'Til fate brings us together
That could be soon or years from now
I remember the day she said
We could be together someday
It seems fate is pulling us apart though
Time is just going by
Unstoppable and relentless
So I bid my time hoping
and wondering
and thinking
Of all those things I remember
