I Sail On Your Breath Poem by Tina Baaklini

I Sail On Your Breath

My love,

I sail on your breath
As a feather and the wind make a duet
I climb the highest mountain, no sweat
I reach the deepest valley, no fret
I tenderly sway on the rhythm of your breath

Sometimes I wish time would halt
When your subtle bodies with mine waltz
When our breath meet, mix, merge
When with the all of you I feel submerged

Our souls orbit around each other
As the moon around earthly mother
Our hearts' arms hold on to each other
Lost I feel away from your heart so tender

Carry me on your eyelashes
Let me slide over and over
Before delving into the vast universe
Within your sweet eyes
Before jumping into the realm
Of your soul, my paradise
